In the Back of My Head

We admit that Downtown LA is one of the most crowded and noisy place to live (tell me about "traffic"). As a person who lived in Vancouver for half  a decade where there are seldom traffic noises but constant sounds of birds chirping and the wind passing through deciduous trees, we can't say that we didn't have difficulties getting used to such different surroundings. But we can't deny the fact that DTLA also has one of the most beautiful skyline views, historic buildings, and exquisite foods. Certain time periods that we enjoy here are the sceneries around 4:00pm when the sun starts to fall down or during nighttime. These views from the patio or roof top are just breathtaking. It's been about 2 weeks since the school started. And as we've expected, our pace of creating DIYs are slowing down :p But we're trying hard to upload at least once a week. Currently working on a dress and it'll soon to be out! xx

This fluffy sweater always reminds us of Paris. Yes, we are living in the middle of crowded and compressed city of LA where seldom romanticism can be found. But hey, free your imagination! Obviously we had to go through severe back pain after rushing these entire ruffles. But it was definitely worth it.

I swear that the first thing that's going to come with me in my luggage to Paris is this sweater.

We lied. LA's winter is not over. We're having a massive wind attack today. While we were on our way to do some groceries in the morning, I almost got slapped on my face by the wind.  I think sweaters are "THE"most practical tops to wear in LA. We wear them quite often than any other tops we own. For that reason, we decided to design & make this bad-ass Cross Beaded Sweater ;)

Well, this would be our last diy for this winter break! We feel very proud and satisfied by the fact that we were quite productive during this break. Can't wait for the spring break already haha. Hope everyone rock their first day of school! xx
