The first time we spotted a floral crown headband was through Lana Del Rey's music video. We never expected this trend to last until 2013. With spring here, it seems the floral headbands are in greater demand than ever before. The dress that I'm wearing is a beautifully hand-made dress by talented designer Mae from Peppermint Milk. She recently launched her AW '13 Collection and they are beyond amazing! The collection was inspired by 1950's Italian Catholic widow mourning dresses. Silhouettes are very feminine and can definitely expect many lace and floral trims with silk and velvet texture.

It's nice to see how old trends are coming back, and I love the way how they simultaneously bring back the childhood memories as well.
