Double Trouble

DIY Double-Slits Maxi Skirt Tutorial
Most of us are well aware of single split maxi skirts. But now, these skirts are taking the trend to the next level by making it double splits. It's hard to dislike maxi skirts, especially with their gifted camouflage effect that makes your legs so much longer than they actually are. In terms of colors and designs, the styles are limitless and surprisingly easy to wear. One note here is that, if you are plannning to wear your skirts mostly with high heels, make sure to consider the height of your heels when determining the length for your final skirts.
Jacket- Sheinside / Heels- Mart of China / Sunglasses- Vagabond Youth
As always, we coordinated two outfits with the skirt. Really, the only differences between the two outfits are change in the color of the jacket from Sheinside and the hair accessories. We especially loved how the lace material of the jacket and the eyelet details on the maxi skirts really made the entire looks cohesive. The skirt has built-in shorts inside for extra safety and comfort. it also has a metal zipper closure at the center back.

Sayonara Summer

Styling 5 Dresses YouTube Video
Summer is our least favorite season of the year, and we have been counting the days for the longest time, waiting for the autumn to arrive (besides, our birthday is on September!). For this week's video, we coordinated five transitional styles using 5 different dresses for the upcoming Fall. Here, I'm wearing a sleeveless v-neck royal blue maxi dress with a ribbon tie around the waist from zlz.com.
Dress- ZLZ / Jacket- Danier / Shoes- Converse / Beanie- H&M
Although maxi dresses are often perceived as summer dresses, they can easily be worn during cooler seasons when paired with a rider jacket and a knitted beanie. We usually prefer heels, but sometimes we give our feet some rest with our old yet comfortable sneakers. Always handy and still going strong!

Bite Me (Chictopia Dress Giveaway)

DIY Bralette & Circle Skirt YouTube Tutorial
Matching two-piece outfit has been in hot spot this season, and crop tops or bralette played major roles in cultivating this trend. When paired it with high-wasted shorts or skirts, this slight midriff-baring look becomes not too baring yet not too covered, which makes this trend quite appropriate at the same time. To add a little twist, we decided to use this fund and colorful alligator printed fabric, which took us less than a minute of final decision for the fabric choice. Bralette has elastic on the back for flexibility and the circle skirt has a zipper closure at the center back. This project is a bit challenging and time consuming when compared to our other DIYs, but we are always here to help you so please don't hesitate to ask us for further clarification!
Chictopia was kind enough to provide a GIVEAWAY for this funky dress that I'm wearing to one of our lucky subscribers. There are so many details that made this particular dress irresistible. Not only it's denim, but it also has sexy lips prints, chest pockets, elastic waistband, collar and snap closures. It's a great statement piece for back to school outfit or it can simply be a casual everyday dress. The rules to the giveaway are on the description box of our YouTube video, so make sure to check em' out and good luck!
