Midterm is almost over! Still working on the last midterm which would be on Thursday. Nevertheless, we didn't want to skip another week with no DIY for you guys :) Many sheer, mesh, and net texture will be back in Spring 13, and so far, we've noticed them in Akris, Haider Ackermann and notably in Victoria Beckham's Spring 13 RTW. Even in recent Grammy Awards Red Carpet, Rhianna wore a beautiful sheer red gown by Azzedine Alaia, which was absolutely stunning!

Go Backless

DIY Backless Dress Youtube Tutorial
We won't lie. Backless designs are something we don't normally prefer to "actually" wear. Sure we do love incorporating backless into our designs, but not for something we would often wear and go out with. Nonetheless, we decided to challenge ourselves. Besides, Letitia, from Lookunderhere, would die anything for backless! (Check out her Youtube channel to see how she stylized our dress).

Flare it Out

DIY Skater Skirt Youtube Tutorial 
Skater skirt has been one of the most highly requested diys from you guys! We actually filmed this quite a while ago, but we finally got to release it now. To give extra flare and fullness, we gave "godets" on each side. According to Wikipedia, godet is an extra piece of fabric in the shape of a circular sector which is set into a garment, usually a dress or skirt. It gives beautiful shape on the particular section of the design anywhere you desire
