The greatest challenge when looking for the perfect maxi dress is probably finding the right length. So to alleviate your problematic situation and before summer is officially over, we've decided to design and make a maxi dress this week! xx

For the past two months, we have been quite busy juggling our schedules between attending events and preparing for our grad school this year! However, knowing that we would be out of school next month (like FOREVER ever), we are extremely excited to take our new journey together to sincerely focus on what we most love to do- designing and producing films for our YouTube channel. Fashion Week San Diego: Culinary Couture

Last weekend, we were invited to Culinary Couture event hosted by Fashion Week San Diego where we had the privilege to experience delicious multi-course dinner inspired by selected seven fashion capitals of the world (San Diego, Shanghai, Florence, Paris, New York, Sao Paulo, and London) by Executive Chef John Palsson at Harrah's Resort Southern California. The foods were remarkable and the purple and mystical vibes were exceptionally breathtaking. We were so eager to share the moment with you guys so we decided to create a vlog in our channel, which will be out shortly so stay tuned! To be honest, we've never attended Fashion Week in San Diego but only in LA since we had no idea such event occurs in San Diego as well. But it's great to know that such collaborative fashion event exists to provide emerging designers with opportunities and platform to launch their careers. Perhaps, hopefully we could launch our own collection very soon :)

Back to School (Ft. H&M X Chictopia)

We don't know about you, but we've always used back to school time as an excuse to stock up our closet with all the latest fashion goodies. This week, we've put together three different back to school looks for collaboration with H&M DIVIDED collection and Chictopia. We used 15% discount for students and teachers and you most definitely could as well. Simply bring your valid student ID upon checkout (checkout our Youtube Video here). Here, I'm wearing a simple white v-neck shirt with a pair of stretchy pants, and a long sleeved burgundy knit cardigan. If you are shopping this week, definitely look out for burgundy colors! Well have an awesome back to school next month :) xx

New York, New York, New York... Where should we even start? Everybody knows that New York is the capital of fashion- it is where everything involved in fashion is happening, and happening first. Yes, we are guilty of streaming Instagram photos on the couch with bag of chips while fashionistas from all over the world gather for a week full of fashion extravagance. As a fashion DIY Enthusiasts, it would be an honor for us to take this trip with Chictopia and Ariat to soak up new inspiration, meet creative individuals, and to explore the greater side of such incredibly stimulating place for fashion! xx

First Glimpse

This week we had the privilege to attend First Glimpse event to have first look over new emerging brands' Spring '15 collection. We especially fell in love with two collections designed by Single White Female and Beatrice and Francis. Every detail literally screamed for spring and made us realize how much we are missing out playing with bright juicy colors and patterns! The event truly inspired us to be more creative and perhaps "daring" in our own designs.

Fruity Punch

Although we usually prefer wearing pants as suppose to miniskirts, we couldn't help it but make ourselves one of these quirky looking patch skirts after seeing a similar one from the Pixie Market. The key to this skirt is not just the patches, but also the style lines around the hem. We had so much fun coordinating this outfit and decided to go overboard with the prints and colors. Oversized crop top is a great selection for pairing with high waist miniskirt and also a great way to take a little break from shirt tucking method. Yeah, yeah?! :)
