With fall just around the corner, we're craving for any pieces that are made out of tartan or plaid fabrics. You'll often spot these wooly weave of Scottish tartan fabric at stores' shelves during this fall season, and it's definitely a great piece that is simply hard to ignore. What we most like about these types of fabrics is the interplay of colors and crossing lines in a weave. It portrays so many different ranges of characters from mysterious punk to classic schoolgirls, or an elegant aritsocracy.
We gave it a little twist by adding these fake sleeves on the side-seams of the shorts, which gives an illusion of having a shirt tied around your hip. We love the way how it adds another layer to the outfit. For the look, I'm wearing a white sleeveless tank top from H&M and a distressed denim jacket from CHICNOVA that fits me like a glove. The style-line details are what caught our attention and loved the fact that it's a 3/4" sleeves rather than a full length.
